At Uncorked Rebellion, we run wine tasting events throughout Warwickshire and the surrounding area, celebrating the world of wine beyond the mainstream. Our mission is to provide opportunities for everyone to explore an 'alternative' wine scene, shining a light on lesser-known wine regions and varieties, as well as supporting unconventional styles and grassroots producers. We passionately curate tasting events to connect our community with truly unique wines.
How it started...
Launched by Chris McCarthy, an experienced sommelier and all-round wine fanatic, as a way to offer an alternative to the otherwise humdrum world of dull, uninteresting, mass produced wines.
Drawing on time spent in Michelin star restaurants, wine retail and vineyard tourism, Chris has been exposed to some of the most fascinating, adventurous and evocative wines available. He brings this experience to Uncorked Rebellion to curate and present truly unique wine tasting experiences.
Uncorked Rebellion was born as a way of championing some of the less celebrated regions, varieties, unconventional styles and passionate producers.
