66% Cabernet Franc, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Sumoll

Blended from different vineyards and varieties from across the estate. 'Franc' in the wine's name comes from their desire to reflect the soils and place in an honest and respectful way. In their own words they are attempting to 'catch the genie from the vineyard, and put it in a bottle'. Aged 11 months in 300l French oak barrels.

Fragrant on the nose with balsamic notes, black pepper, plums and a touch of herbaceousness. Mouth-filling with fleshy black fruit and ripe tannins. The finish is long, with a refreshing touch of acidity. Great with lamb and other grilled meats.
