Domaine Guion was established in 1950 and is located in the heart of Bourgueil. Back then, the family were largely self-sufficient; raising farm animals as well as planting many vegetables and grains in addition to their vines. The focus for the Guion family was always to preserve and nourish the land around them. With this in mind, they began to farm organically in 1965, becoming renowned as pioneers of organic grape growing in the Loire Valley by their fellow vignerons.

50 year old vines and 5 years of additional bottle age means this wine is showing serious complexity: bright bramble fruit, dried herbs and a savoury edge. This is cool climate Cabernet Franc in its best form. Juicy, ripe and complex!
